Mike Carey's new Vertigo series, The Unwritten, was launched this past week, and so far the reviews have been fantastic!
The new series shows imagination of the highest degree and gives you a whopping 40 pages of story for your local equivilent of a dollar! We here at Octocon Towers think it's an absolutely amazing comic after just one issue, so we wanted to let everyone know before it's gone from the shelves!
We're now more excited than ever to meet Mike as our GoH this October!

My Dad on RTE 2

John Vaughan's film My Dad, will be on Bank Holiday Monday on RTE 2, at 23.25.
The film premiered at Octocon 2007 and has since gone on to win the coveted Best Picture (Short) Award at the 2008 Action On Film Festival.

P-Con VI This Weekend!

P-Con VI takes place this weekend, the 27th-29th of March, and we're looking forward to it more than ever! It's no wonder, with such a great guest of honour as Paul Cornell of Marvel Comics and Doctor Who fame, along with such luminaries as former Octocon GoH Ken McLeod, the dynamic Leah Moore and John Reppion and the always inadjectivable C. E. Murphy!
So if you're in Dublin City this weekend, do stop by the Central Hotel and pay them a visit! While you're at it, we might just be able to convince you to stop by our little convention this coming October! :)
